Welcome to the OA HOW Telegram Group

Per OA guidelines, the HVIG does not endorse or lend the OA or HVIG name to any related facility or outside enterprise.  

If you do not have an OAHOW sponsor, please see this information. 

The Telegram group is intended to allow fellows to connect when mutually available. A fellow can review posts on the app and make calls to those listed or place his/her contact information in a post to receive calls. This Telegram App and group is active 24/7, 365 days per year, and serves as a convenient option for two-hour OA HOW members to obtain calls, obtain temporary sponsorship, and deal with any food issues. OA HOW members located all over the world can use the Telegram app without charge to connect and enhance their recovery.

If you are currently working with an OAHOW sponsor and would like to participate in the Telegram group, follow the steps below:

     1. If you do not have the Telegram app installed, go to the app store (e.g.,  Google/Apple) and       

      find the Telegram app.  Install it on your mobile/cell phone.

      2. To join the Telegram, follow these instructions.

      3. This link takes you to a 'pending' group where a moderator will contact you and ask you  

       three questions:

                       Have you read and understood the guidelines?

                       Are you willing to comply to the best of your ability?

                       Are you working with a 2-hour OA/HOW format sponsor?    

     4. If you answer 'yes' to the three questions, the moderator will add you to the group.
